Polymer Extrusion Simulation and Die Design

I have worked as research assistant (May 2002 – May 2004) on Scintillator extrusion simulation and die design for Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and Northern Illinois Center for Accelerator and Detector Development (NICADD), NIU with Prof. Milivoje Kostic as internal advisor. I have a few publications at ANTEC 2004 and Fluent Users Group Meeting related to this project.

Integrated Laboratory-Stations (ILS)
I have worked on the design and fabrication of Integrated Laboratory Station (ILS), which is designed to teach laboratories to undergraduate students as part of the course work “Experimental Methods in Mechanical Engineering”. ILS incorporates modern developments in instrumentation and experimentation, utilizing computerized data acquisition (DAQ) and LabVIEW with signal conditioning (SCXI).

Teaching
I have worked as Teaching Assistant for MEE 390 “Experimental Methods in Mechanical Engineering” during Sping 2003, Fall 2003 and Spring 2004. Responsibilities include setting up and conducting lab sessions, grading exams and assisting students with problems and projects.

I have also worked as Teaching Assistant for MEE 352 “Heat Transfer” during Fall 2002 and Spring 2004, and for MEE 340 “Fluid Mechanics” during Spring 2003.
I have demonstrated the CFD software “Flowlab” to MEE 352"Heat Transfer" students in Summer 2003.
